Perched on the 23rd floor of Hôtel des Arts Saigon, part of the MGallery Collection, The Albion by Kirk Westaway offers sweeping views of the city skyline and a casually refined take on modern European cuisine, anchored in British heritage.
The restaurant is the first international concept by Chef Kirk Westaway, the two Michelin-starred chef behind JAAN by Kirk Westaway in Singapore. Known for his commitment to reimagining British cuisine with precision and clarity of flavour, Kirk brings this philosophy to Ho Chi Minh City in a setting that is both elegant and approachable.
At The Albion, he works in close partnership with Head Chef Christopher Clarke, whose experience spans some of Europe’s most acclaimed kitchens including Frantzén, Core by Clare Smyth and The Black Swan. Together, they present a menu that is light, focused and rooted in seasonality — from standout à la carte plates to a thoughtfully composed tasting menu.

Chef Kirk and Chef Christopher have designed a menu that celebrates modern British cuisine, something scarcely represented in Vietnam. Focusing on the freshest produce, some of which sourced from organic farms in Dalat, alongside select producers from around the world, guests can expect clean and bright flavours. At the heart of the menu are abundant platters designed for sharing; langoustines paired with a cocktail sauce, roast lamb with mint, roast beef with horseradish cream, roasted scallops served with sweet, barbecued cabbage as well as fresh salads of pristine tomatoes with fresh basil. There will be plenty of oysters, seafood and standout fish and shellfish from Japan, all served with beautiful simplicity.
Signature dishes include The Albion Tomato, made with organic Da Lat tomatoes, housemade ketchup and a basil-orange sorbet, and a refined take on the British classic Eton Mess. The restaurant places strong emphasis on clean presentation, exceptional produce and quietly confident execution.

On entering The Albion by Kirk Westaway, the historic British bar and rich wooden panels are the focal point, where guests start their dining experience with a refreshing cocktail signaling a memorable moment in time.
The 60-seat dining room blends old and new — traditional British design elements sit alongside art deco touches, marble counters and warm modern textures. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame panoramic views of Ho Chi Minh City, setting the scene for a polished yet relaxed dining experience, whether for a midweek supper or a special occasion.
