 About the Artist: Van-Anh Nguyen

Van-Anh Nguyen is not just a pianist; she is a global force in the classical crossover world. A passionate Australian-Vietnamese artist, producer, and composer, she recently made history as the first Australian-Vietnamese artist to enter the US iTunes Classical Charts.

Born in Sydney to professional musician parents (Vietnamese refugees), Van-Anh began her journey at the astounding age of 15 months. By age 4, she was accepted into the Young Artists Program at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and by age 12, she had obtained her Licentiate Diploma in Music, making her one of the youngest in her generation to do so.

Her career has taken her from the Sydney Opera House to stages across the globe. Blending music, fashion, and her contagious personality, a performance by Van-Anh is an emotional experience that lingers long after the final note is played.
